Job summary

SimVentions offers an immersive 11-week paid internship designed for students in systems engineering, software engineering, modeling & simulation, and cybersecurity. Priority is given to returning interns and students whose degrees align with core technical areas, with deadlines by December 31, 2026 and notification by March 2027.

All applicants must have completed their Freshman year and be a rising sophomore, junior, or senior.

Qualifications

• Must have completed freshman year and be a rising sophomore, junior, or senior.
• Pursuing a degree in systems engineering, software engineering, cybersecurity, computer science, or related field.
• Strong interest in technology, innovation, and problem-solving.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A proactive, eager-to-learn attitude with a commitment to personal and professional growth.
• Previous cybersecurity coursework or experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support cybersecurity initiatives including security monitoring, vulnerability assessment, risk analysis, and implementation of security controls.
• Gain hands-on experience with cybersecurity tools, policies, and practices while working with experienced security professionals.
• Collaborate with security professionals on projects and participate in team reviews.
