Job summary

Invesco Ltd. seeks an Early Career Intern for the Global Security Department in Houston. You will gain hands-on exposure to cybersecurity operations, cloud and SaaS security, vulnerability management, and project delivery, working across Offensive Security, Cloud Security, and PMO domains.

You will support documentation, metrics, and reporting while learning how security programs are planned and executed in a global investment firm.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in undergrad or grad in a relevant field.
• Interest in cybersecurity, security engineering, cyber operations, cloud security, or program delivery.
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to take notes, summarize discussions, and track follow-up actions.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work across multiple teams and manage competing priorities.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools; Excel, PowerPoint, Planner, Jira, ServiceNow, Power BI, Python a plus.
• Curiosity, willingness to learn technical concepts, and ability to ask thoughtful questions.

Responsibilities

• Cybersecurity Program Support across multiple workstreams.
• Technical exposure to vulnerability management, application security, cloud security, SaaS security.
• Project coordination: meeting notes, action items, decisions, risks, dependencies.
• Status reporting: maintain project plans, trackers, dashboards, delivery materials.
• Security documentation: operating models, process flows, remediation plans, playbooks.
• Data and metrics support: organize security metrics and program data.
• Process improvement: simplify tracking and improve communication.
