Job summary

Bumble Bee Foods is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to lead day‑to‑day cybersecurity efforts, investigate incidents, and tune detection tooling across the enterprise. The role requires coordinating with IT, building playbooks, and strengthening security posture with governance and risk management expertise.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years in cybersecurity, familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK, SIEMs, vulnerability tools, and EDR platforms.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information security roles.
• Certifications (e.g., ISC2) preferred.
• Experience with incident response, threat detection, and log correlation.
• Proficiency with SIEM platforms and detection engineering.
• Experience with vulnerability management tools (Tenable, Qualys).
• Working knowledge of Windows and Linux, CLI, and system architecture.
• Experience with Security Awareness Training platforms and training programs.
• Understanding MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• Strong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS).
• Experience with governance and EDR platforms (MS Defender, Purview, Sophos, CrowdStrike).
• Experience using secure API tools for automation and orchestration.
• Knowledge of NIST/SOC/ISO/CIS frameworks; tabletop exercises & penetration testing.
• Understanding data protection, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.

Responsibilities

• Identify, analyze, monitor and manage security events and incidents across the enterprise.
• Lead incident response lifecycle and coordinate with IT for remediation.
• Tune and optimize SIEM and detection tooling to reduce noise.
• Conduct security risk assessments for platforms and vendors, including AI/SaaS.
• Perform account auditing and access control reviews to maintain compliance.
• Develop and review enterprise IT policies and procedures.
• Monitor threat intelligence and CVE disclosures to coordinate remediation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align with acceptable use and AI adoption.
• Promote cybersecurity awareness via tabletop exercises and phishing prevention.
• Assess third‑party security risk and due diligence, including offshore consultants.
