Job summary

GDIT is seeking a Cybersecurity Implementation Engineer to support our Intelligence Community customer in Springfield, VA. You will build and maintain on-premises and cloud security infrastructure, deploy cybersecurity solutions, and contribute to enterprise capabilities with a focus on DoW standards.

Required: TS/SCI with polygraph, IASAE II/ IAT III, 6+ years in network/cybersecurity engineering, and strong cloud security skills.

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.
6+ years of network/cybersecurity engineering experience.
Expertise in cloud infrastructure, security principles, compute, storage, and transport.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for executive audiences.
Experience with modernizing enterprise cybersecurity systems.
Certified DoW 8140.01 and 8570.01-M IASAE II/IAT III.
CSSP Infrastructure Support certification within 120 days of start date.

Responsibilities

Build, deploy, configure, and maintain on-premises and cloud-based cybersecurity infrastructure and applications on Windows and Linux.
Engineer and implement cybersecurity solutions using cloud services (EC2, EBS, ELB, S3, RDS); manage AMIs and installations.
Research and implement enterprise cybersecurity solutions to support business goals.
Evaluate and recommend technology upgrades to improve performance and standardization.
Develop and maintain architecture diagrams and roadmaps for capabilities and tech.
Coordinate with stakeholders and assessors to support security assessments and authorization.
