Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Cybersecurity & Global Security Attorney to serve as a subject matter expert on legal and regulatory matters related to cybersecurity, information security, and global security. You will draft and negotiate contract terms, analyze laws across jurisdictions, and advise on incident response and crisis management, working with senior leaders and outside counsel.

• JD degree and compliance with licensing requirements for the jurisdiction of employment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including senior executives.
• Experience advising on cybersecurity, information security, and global security matters.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate cybersecurity and information security terms in supplier and client contracts.
• Analyze and advise on cybersecurity and physical security regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
• Participate in advocacy and policy efforts to shape industry standards and regulatory frameworks.
• Advise on cybersecurity incident response, crisis management, and regulatory engagement.
• Provide day-to-day legal advice to cybersecurity, technology controls, and global security teams.
• Identify legal issues, analyze problems, and deliver practical solutions within risk tolerances.
• Advise on global security matters, including physical and technical security, insider risk, and strategic threats.
• Represent the Firm in legal matters, working independently and with outside counsel.
• Support and advise senior management on a broad range of legal and security issues.
• Manage multiple complex matters simultaneously with outstanding organizational and project management skills.
