The position is full-time, on-site, with a 100k–150k salary range and benefits including PTO, 401(k), and health insurance. Experience with Linux, Windows hardening, and security patches is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a Cybersecurity Engineering environment.
• Experience with Linux and Windows hardening.
• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• BS or MS in Cyber Security, CS, CE, or SE.
• DOD 8570 IAT or IAM certifications desired.

Responsibilities

• Perform Cybersecurity Engineering duties on Navy Control Systems/Platform IT.
• Integrate Cybersecurity clients on servers running Red Hat Enterprise Linux with configuration changes and scripting.
• Harden Linux and Windows Operating Systems for target applications.
• Conduct security scanning and apply patches to 3rd party software to reduce residual risk.
• Conduct Performance Verification Testing to verify patches and hardening.
• Support vulnerability management and secure system design initiatives.

Cybersecurity Engineer – Syracuse, NYSalary Range: $100,000 - $150,000Generous PTO, 401(k), Health Insurance PackageIn-Depth Engineering seeks Cybersecurity Engineers to support a new digital Electronic Warfare system. The Cybersecurity Engineers will have experience with operating systems, networking, vulnerability management, security principles, and design for secure Information Systems.This is a permanent, full-time position and the work will be performed at our customer site in Syracuse, New York.Candidates for consideration must be a US citizen and hold an active Department of Defense secret clearance.The work is performed on-site at our customer facility in Syracuse, NY.
