Job summary

Torch Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer, Journeyman, to support the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Hanscom AFB, MA. The role includes assisting in the development of security documentation and ensuring compliance with DoD policies.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in a professional engineering discipline with 7 years of experience, including Security+ certification and an active Secret security clearance. Competitive salary offered in the range of $135,000 - $150,000.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline, 3 of which must be in DoD.
• Must have and maintain an active Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of security documentation including management plans.
• Support RMF Authorization and Accreditation activities for compliance.
• Manage system user accounts and access control lists.

Skills

Security+ certification

Agile methodologies including CI/CD

Strong communication skills

Understanding of cybersecurity in DoD cloud infrastructure

PKI management and access control

Risk Management Framework (RMF)

STIG compliance

Education
