Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Systems Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years in incident detection, incident response, and digital forensics.
• Experience administering Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, and Google Workspace environments.
• Experience with EDR, security operations, and threat monitoring platforms like CrowdStrike/Arctic Wolf.
• Experience supporting enterprise wireless and wired networking, including Aruba solutions.
• Experience in a K–12 education environment is preferred.
• Proficiency with Powershell.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity trends, threats, and attack techniques.
• Minimum of 5 years IT experience supporting enterprise systems.
• Excellent communication with users of varying technical abilities.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation and after-hours work.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, manage, monitor, and improve security measures.
• Troubleshoot security incidents and network-related issues.
• Respond to and investigate system and network security incidents.
• Ensure data and infrastructure are protected with appropriate controls.
• Participate in change management processes.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and identify weaknesses.
• Perform daily admin tasks, documentation, and reporting.
• Promote operational excellence and continuous improvement.
• Support and maintain network architecture and client/server tech.
• Assist in district-wide cybersecurity projects.
