Job summary

A technology and professional services firm is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to support the design and deployment of cloud cyber security solutions for the Department of Defense. AGE Solutions is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer. In this role, you will support the design, development and deployment of cloud cyber security solutions in a secure Department of Defense (DoD) environment. This position requires expertise in an understanding of major cloud platforms and technologies as well as the ability to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

• Help design and maintain secure systems
• Monitor and respond to security events as needed
• Develop and enforce security policies
• Support security program management

Required Skills, Qualifications And Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Ten (10) years of general experience with at least 5 years in Computer Science or related engineering field
• Have an active DoD Secret clearance
• DoD 8140 Role and Information Assurance Technical (IAT) II+ or Information Assurance Management (IAM) II+ Certification (i.e. CISSP, SecurityX, Security+ etc)
• Demonstrated expertise in RMF/IA with a particular focus and knowledge on cloud technologies and cloud deployments
• Knowledge of DoD RMF, NIST SP 800-53, and A&A processes
• Experience preparing and maintaining RMF documentation (SSP, SAR, POA&M)
• Knowledge of secure system and network architecture design
• Experience with system hardening and compliance with DISA STIGs
• Experience with personnel and industrial security management (clearances, access control)
• Experience with security training, awareness, and briefings
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Compensation: $125,000 - $140,000

This position is part of a pipeline for a future opportunity supporting a DoD customer. Employment is contingent upon contract award and government customer approval.
