Job summary

Insight Global in the Houston area is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to strengthen and expand security operations and capabilities, partnering with the primary security engineer and stakeholders across the business. You will own day-to-day security operations, support incident response activities, and manage a modern technology stack to reduce single points of failure.

The role requires extensive CrowdStrike Falcon experience, Rubrik DSPM, Entra ID/Azure security administration, and SOX

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on CrowdStrike Falcon ecosystem experience and related products.
• Experience with data protection and governance technologies (DAG/DSPM).
• Working knowledge of Entra ID and Azure security administration.
• Experience supporting SOX compliance, SOC reviews, or audit evidence collection.

Job Description

An Insight Global client in the Houston area is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to strengthen and expand the company's security operations and capabilities. This role will serve as a critical partner to the organization's primary security engineer, providing additional depth, redundancy, and operational support across security operations, compliance, incident response, and security technology management. The Cybersecurity Engineer will play a key role in reducing single points of failure within the security function by owning day-to-day security operations, supporting compliance initiatives, coordinating incident response activities, and managing a modern cybersecurity technology stack. This person will provide local support for security incidents and collaborate closely with business and operational stakeholders. Lastly, this salary range for this position ranges from $130,000 - $150,000 based on years of experience.

Skills and Requirements

Extensive, hands-on experience across the CrowdStrike Falcon ecosystem: EDR/XDR, Falcon Complete Next-Gen SIEM, Falcon Identity Complete, Falcon Device Control, Falcon for IT, Falcon Exposure Management, and Identity Detection & Response.

Experience with Rubrik DSPM and Data Access Governance (DAG).

Working knowledge of Entra ID and Azure security administration.

Experience supporting SOX compliance, SOC report reviews, or audit evidence collection.

Experience with security incident response, investigation, and coordination.
