Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage network and cybersecurity architectures to protect systems and data.
• Conduct security risk assessments, audits, and gap analyses of policies, standards, procedures, and environments.
• Evaluate systems to determine security requirements and controls based on operational needs.
• Apply defense-in-depth principles and network security architecture concepts.
• Identify and assess critical infrastructure systems and legacy environments.
• Analyze how changes in systems or operations impact security posture, resilience, and dependability.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal statutes and standards related to information security.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex security concepts into actionable guidance.
• Develop and present security documentation, reports, and recommendations to leadership and teams.
• Support incident response planning, vulnerability management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Identify and assesscritical infrastructure systemsand legacy environments that were designed without adequate security considerations.
• Analyze how changes in systems, operations, or environments impactsecurity posture, resilience, and dependability.
• Ensure compliance withstate and federal statutes, regulations, and standardsrelated to information security and computer crime.
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders totranslate complex security conceptsinto clear, actionable guidance.
• Develop and presentsecurity documentation, reports, and recommendationsto leadership and technical teams.
• Support incident response planning, vulnerability management, and continuous security improvement initiatives.
