Job summary

Tevora is seeking participants for its Winter Consultant Development Program in Irvine, CA or Fairfax, VA. The internship is a paid training track designed to build foundational cybersecurity skills and professional competencies for a future Information Security Associate role.

As a Developing Consultant, you will shadow testers, perform internal and external assessments, and contribute to project delivery across risk, compliance, and threat domains. Eligibility to work in the U.S. is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited 4-year university (or Military equivalent) or currently enrolled at an accredited 4-year university (or Military equivalent).
• IT, Cybersecurity, and Information Security certifications a plus
• Eligibility to work in the United States.
• Required to work onsite at Fairfax, VA, or Irvine, CA location.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical and business skills required to perform billable work on projects quickly.
• Learn about industry-standard certifications and their benefits.
• Learn about PCI-DSS, HIPAA, and ISO 27001 standards and frameworks.
• Observe implementations of Enterprise Security Solutions.
• Assist with penetration testing and related projects.
• Plan, gather requirements, and execute technical plans to meet business needs.
• Document execution procedures and provide insights into technologies involved.
• Assist Consultants with client engagements.
