Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking an Security & Compliance Administrator to serve as an information security risk specialist for military clients in Huntsville. You will identify cyber risks, review threat landscapes, and develop mitigation plans with action milestones and formal presentations.

You will translate complex security concepts for informed decisions, leveraging SIEMs and security tools while collaborating with cross‑functional teams. A Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Experience conducting security audits, enforcing security policies, and managing security tools such as SIEMs, vulnerability scanners, and identity management solutions
• Experience ensuring compliance with DoD and IC security frameworks
• Experience using security tools such as Splunk, Microsoft Defender, AWS Security Hub, Azure Security Center, and Tenable Nessus
• Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, or Information Security and 2+ years of experience in security and compliance management, or 5+ years of experience in security and compliance management in lieu of a degree

Responsibilities

• Assess cyber risks for military clients and develop a mitigation plan.
• Review technical and personnel details to assess the threat landscape.
• Guide clients through a plan of action with presentations, white papers, and milestones.
• Translate security concepts so clients can make informed decisions to secure mission‑critical systems.
