Job summary

Akima Systems Engineering in Honolulu, HI, is seeking a Cybersecurity Compliance Analyst to support the Command-and-Control Communications and Cyber directorate. The role emphasizes ensuring compliance, conducting audits, validating foundational cybersecurity requirements, and preparing executive status reports.

The ideal candidate holds Top Secret/SCI eligibility with 3+ years in cybersecurity or CND, and certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar.

Qualifications

• Must possess ONE of the following certifications: CAP, CASP+ CE, CISM, CISSP (or Associate), GSLC, CCISO, HCISPP, or CompTIA Sec+.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience related to Cybersecurity, Information Technology, as well as CND.
• Experience using Microsoft Office tools (Project, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio and Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate DoD Directives, validate compliance, track and report for subordinate commands and DRUs.
• Use ACAS and CMRS to conduct risk analyses, identify vulnerabilities, and manage mitigation until resolution.
• Perform vulnerability analyses based on intelligence reports and review cybersecurity compliance policies.
• Coordinate inspections and audits using STIG/SCAP, and prepare executive summaries for leadership briefings.
• Support RMF process efforts as required.
