Job summary

Focus Partners Wealth is seeking a Security Specialist to lead our cybersecurity awareness and training program across all Focus firms. The role delivers engaging, risk-based security training to employees at all levels and partners with Legal, Privacy, and Compliance to align content with regulatory requirements.

The position is hybrid with three days per week in the St. Louis office, reporting to the Head of Cybersecurity Governance.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of experience in cybersecurity awareness, training, GRC, or related security roles.
• Hands-on experience delivering cybersecurity training programs in regulated environments.
• Strong understanding of cyber risks, user behavior, and awareness best practices.
• Experience partnering with Legal, Privacy, Compliance teams on regulatory/audit initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mandatory annual security training and role-based campaigns.
• Design phishing simulations, analyze results, and provide follow-up education.
• Develop and refresh training content aligned with regulations and threat trends.
• Collaborate with Legal, Privacy, Regulatory Compliance, HR, and IT to ensure content compliance.
