Job summary

STATE STREET CORPORATION seeks a Technical Delivery Manager to partner with Cyber Security Operations within the Global Cyber Security organization. The role focuses on delivering secure, data-driven platforms and AI-enabled workstreams in a hybrid work environment.

You will lead cross-functional delivery, coordinate Data & AI initiatives, and ensure progress with stakeholder visibility. A strong SDLC background and security framework knowledge are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Technical Delivery, Project Management, Scrum, or Service Delivery roles.
• 3+ years Cyber Security domain experience preferred.
• Certifications or knowledge in Security Frameworks (e.g., NIST) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning and delivery across technical workstreams with cross-functional milestones.
• Coordinate Data & AI workstreams including planning, risks, and stakeholder updates.
• Track technical decisions and dependencies so they are visible and progressed.
• Manage SLAs, KPIs, service reviews, audits and continuous improvement.
• Act as delivery interface between end users, technical leads, engineers and vendors.
• Support sprint, release and transition planning across teams.

Who We Are Looking ForWe are looking for a Technical Delivery Manager to partner with our Cyber Security Operations teams.This role sits in our Cyber Platforms and Engineering team within the Global Cyber Security ( GCS ) organization.Why This Role is Important To UsThis is an exciting opportunity to join an evolving team as we transform Security Operations into a product-led, customer-visible service model to deliver applications, platforms, and Data & AI workstreams to support end users and stakeholders.To succeed in this role, you will have:5+ years of demonstratable experience, working cross-functionally in a complex security operations environment.You will be comfortable engaging with stakeholders, managing cross‑functional delivery, and aligning security outcomes to business risk and priorities.What You Will Be Responsible ForIn this role, you will:Lead end-to-end planning and delivery across technical workstreams, managing cross-functional project milestones.Coordinate delivery of Data & AI workstreams, including planning, dependencies, risks, reporting and stakeholder updates.Track technical decisions, assumptions and dependencies so they are visible, owned and progressed.Manage SLAs, KPIs, service reviews, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.Act as the day-to-day delivery interface between end users/stakeholders, technical leads, engineers and third-party vendors.Support sprint, release and transition planning across development, testing, infrastructure, data and support teams.Support controlled change, adoption, documentation, handover and transition to a live service.What We ValueThese skills will help you succeed in this role:Know your customer and be customer obsessed, providing enablement, support model, and clear service ownership.Stakeholder Reporting: Translating complex technical risks and progress metrics into clear updates for executive or non-technical leadership.Background in software development life cycle (SDLC), cloud architecture, risk reduction and remediation.Be a good human, practitioner and partner who will respectfully challenge the status quo.Education & Preferred QualificationsQualification(s) required:Bachelor’s degree in technology related technical discipline / Cyber related qualification preferred.Years of experience:5+ years in Technical Delivery, Project Management, Scrum, or Service Delivery roles.3+ years Cyber Security domain experience preferred.Certifications required or preferred:Knowledge of Security Frameworks and methodologies (e.g., NIST) required.Security certifications preferred (e.g., CISM/CISSP)Knowledge of tools or technologies:Expertise in Confluence, Jira & MS Office Suite.Tool Stack Acumen: Familiarity with SIEM, EDR, Data Engineering principles and practices.Other qualifications:A relevant project delivery certification, such as PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, Agile, or SAFe, preferred.Work RequirementHybrid WorkRequirement: 4 days in office (Quincy, Boston)Shift Time:Regular office hoursSalary Range:$90,000 - $157,500 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified.
