Job summary

Rausch Advisory Services LLC is seeking an Information Technology Auditor with deep cybersecurity expertise to join our Internal Audit team in Atlanta. The role focuses on evaluating technology controls across cloud platforms, digital ecosystems, industrial control systems, and data privacy frameworks, and serving as a Cybersecurity SME to senior IT and security leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, information assurance, CS or related field.
• 3–4 years in cybersecurity, IT audit or tech-focused public accounting.
• CISA, CISSP, CISM preferred; CEH/OSCP advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of COBIT, PCI DSS, NIST.
• Familiarity with SAP, AD, Linux/Windows, AWS/Azure, and network/ICS tech.
• Understanding of IT controls incl. change mgmt and privacy.
• Experience DevOps/Agile and data governance awareness.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an internal Cybersecurity SME within Internal Audit.
• Develop audit strategies for technology-focused engagements.
• Interview process and business owners to gather insights on controls.
• Execute audits to evaluate security measures, IT controls, governance.
• Apply NIST, PCI, COBIT and other frameworks to assess posture.
• Analyze findings and document root-cause-based recommendations.
• Prepare detailed audit reports with observations and corrective actions.
• Collaborate on remediation plans with IT leaders.
• Maintain awareness of evolving technologies to inform scope.
• Participate in continuous improvement of audit methodologies and analytics.
