Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree completed before the position start date in a related field.
• Foundational cybersecurity concepts, risks, controls, and best practices.
• Cybersecurity coursework, labs, projects, internships, or competitions.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to relocate to Lansing or elsewhere in Michigan based on business needs.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States indefinitely without requiring employer sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Analyze cybersecurity requirements and help document security processes.
• Support cybersecurity assessments, risk analysis, and control evaluations.
• Help identify vulnerabilities and recommend practical security improvements.
• Contribute to work involving identity and access management, cloud security, data protection, threat management, governance, and compliance.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to solve technical and business challenges.
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to colleagues and clients.
• Continuously build your cybersecurity and consulting expertise through training, mentorship, and project experience.
