Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in New Jersey seeks an Assessment & Exercises Vice President to strengthen cybersecurity controls. You will manage technology platform assessments, drive readiness and remediation, and execute tests of IT General and Application Controls.

You will collaborate with Technology, Product management, and Technology Risk & Controls to enable execution and reporting across global risk functions. Excellent leadership and independent initiative are essential.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on security concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
• Experience as a practitioner or lead in IT controls within a Big Four or top IT consulting firm.
• Knowledge of IT general controls (SOX/SOC1/SOC2) auditing practices.
• Ability to lead multiple ongoing assessments across diverse stakeholder groups.
• Experience working cross-functionally and leading teams.
• Proven meeting leadership and problem-solving skills to deliver results on deadlines.
• Autonomy and initiative to learn new technologies using various resources.
• Ability to work effectively in a global team and drive results in a complex org.

Responsibilities

• Assess and test IT general controls and application controls; identify findings and remediation steps.
• Run controls adoption readiness assessments across programs.
• Evaluate platform functionality to ensure control standard adherence.
• Track progress and report program status to senior management.
• Maintain high-quality program documentation.
