Job summary

9th Way Insignia, a service-disabled veteran-owned small business, seeks a Senior Security Architect (E3 Engineer) to design and govern enterprise security architectures for DoD/government platforms. You will define roadmaps, security requirements, and transition plans for zero trust, cloud, hybrid, and on‑prem environments.

Requires a Bachelor's in cybersecurity or related field and 10+ years of enterprise security or cybersecurity engineering, with strong NIST/RMF experience and proven ability

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, computer science, information systems, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Ten or more years of enterprise security architecture, systems architecture, or cybersecurity engineering experience.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust, identity and access management, network segmentation, cloud security, and security frameworks (NIST, RMF).
• Experience designing or evaluating security architecture in large enterprise or government environments.

Responsibilities

• Define and assess enterprise security architectures that support Zero Trust, cloud, hybrid, and on‑prem environments.
• Develop architecture roadmaps, reference patterns, security requirements, and transition plans.
• Analyze system designs, data flows, identity patterns, and control dependencies for security and interoperability risks.
• Advise technical teams and leadership on security architecture decisions, tradeoffs, and remediation priorities.
• Produce architecture diagrams, design documentation, and executive-ready briefings.
