Job summary

Agilent Technologies is seeking a Cybersecurity Architect to lead enterprise cybersecurity strategy with a focus on AI governance and digital transformation. You will develop multi-year security roadmaps and assess AI-related risks, aligning security with cloud, data, and enterprise initiatives.

You will collaborate with IT and business leadership to embed security into technology decisions, drive governance models, and manage regulatory compliance across life sciences environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in CS, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• 10+ years in security architecture, enterprise security, or related fields.
• Proven experience in security strategy, reference architecture, and transformation programs.
• Strong knowledge of security fundamentals, AI security controls, and risk management.

Role

Cybersecurity Architect leading Agilent's enterprise cybersecurity strategy with a focus on AI governance and digital transformation.

Responsibilities

develop and communicate multi-year security roadmaps, evaluate emerging threats and technologies, define target-state security architectures supporting cloud, data, AI, and enterprise initiatives; advise on strategic security investments, lead secure AI strategy development including governance models and risk management, assess AI-related security risks, and ensure compliance with evolving regulations. Collaborates closely with IT, security, and business leadership to integrate security into technology decisions, monitor industry standards, and provide strategic guidance on identity, data protection, and cloud security.

Qualifications

Bachelor's in CS, Cybersecurity, or related; 10+ years in security architecture, enterprise security, or related fields; proven experience in security strategy, reference architecture, and transformation programs; strong knowledge of security fundamentals, AI security controls, and operational technology; excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred

experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), security standards (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls), regulated industries (life sciences, healthcare); professional certifications (CISSP, CISM, CCSP).
