Our client, a manufacturing-focused organization, is seeking a Cybersecurity Architect to join their team in Bridgeton, Missouri. As a Cybersecurity Architect, you will be part of the organization’s IT and security function, supporting secure systems and resilient operations across both IT and manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical leadership, strategic security thinking, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams to embed security into systems and workflows.
Job Title: Cybersecurity Architect
Location: St. Louis Metro area
Pay Range: $130,000 - $140,000
What's the Job?
- Architect and implement enterprise-grade cybersecurity solutions across IT and manufacturing environments.
- Develop and maintain security architecture documentation, standards, and implementation guidance.
- Evaluate, deploy, and optimize security technologies such as SIEM, EDR, firewalls, IAM, DLP, DSPM, and Zero Trust.
- Lead complex incident response and forensic investigations, including threat detection and prevention design.
- Perform proactive threat hunting, risk assessments, and vulnerability management to strengthen security posture.
What's Needed?
- Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- 6+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity roles with enterprise architecture and technical oversight.
- Advanced certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or OSCP are highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of vulnerability assessment tools and processes, including how to drive remediation and compliance.
- Experience with manufacturing OT environments (ICS/SCADA, PLC networks, and industrial protocols such as Modbus, OPC UA, or DNP3), including network segmentation, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and Zero Trust architectures in OT environments, preferred.
