BCore seeks a Cybersecurity Analyst in McLean, VA to detect and respond to cyber threats using SIEM and threat intelligence within a government-focused environment. The role requires TS/SCI with poly and the ability to obtain DoD 8570 IAT-II within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• 1+ years in a Cyber Incident Response Team, SOC, or equivalent cybersecurity role.
• Experience with SIEM, network security tools, and log analysis tools.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, incident detection, analysis, and response methodologies.
• Knowledge of operating systems, network protocols, and security technologies.
• Knowledge of the Mitre ATT&CK framework.
• Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 IAT-II certification within 6 months of starting.

• Knowledge of operating systems, network protocols, and security technologies.
• Knowledge of the Mitre ATT&CK framework.
• Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 IAT-II certification within 6 months of starting position.

What you can expect from us

• The expected salary range within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is: $120,000 - $179,000. Final compensation is unique to each individual and will be determined based on factors such as experience, education, geographic location, and contractual requirements. This is not a guarantee.
