Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or related field.
• Experience investigating security alerts and events.
• Experience with SIEM, monitoring, and alerting tools.
• Exposure to vulnerability management platforms (e.g., Rapid7).
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat detection, and risk management.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, ports, protocols).
• Familiarity with frameworks such as NIST, HITRUST, ISO 27001.
• Cybersecurity certifications such as Security+, CySA+, CISSP, or GCIH.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, investigate, and triage cybersecurity alerts and incidents.
• Participate in threat detection, incident response, and malware investigations.
• Analyze security logs and alerts using SIEM platforms.
• Support vulnerability management and remediation efforts.
• Assist with data protection and DLP initiatives.
• Partner with infra, network, and business teams to improve security posture.
• Support risk assessments, security reviews, and compliance activities.
• Document investigations, findings, remediation, and recommendations.
• Help develop cybersecurity metrics and awareness communications.
• Participate in stakeholder meetings and security projects.
• Stay current on threats and best practices.
