Valencor LLC (Valencor) is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst with expertise in Risk Management Framework (RMF), Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA), and Data-Centric Security (DCS). This position will support the modernization of legacy network-centric technologies, applications, and infrastructure to align with DoD Zero Trust strategies and emerging cybersecurity frameworks.

What you will do:

Seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst with Risk Management Framework (RMF) expertise to support the transition of legacy network-centric architectures to Zero Trust (ZT) and Data-Centric Security (DCS) models. The ideal candidate will implement DoD RMF, Zero Trust principles, and cloud security best practices, with a focus on Microsoft Azure security tools.

1. Implement RMF processes, security controls, and continuous monitoring to achieve and maintain ATO.
2. Lead Zero Trust transitions, integrating identity-based security, micro-segmentation, and least privilege access.
3. Deploy Data-Centric Security (DCS) measures, including encryption, ABAC, and Digital Rights Management (DRM).
4. Modernize legacy applications and network security to align with Zero Trust architecture.
5. Enhance threat detection and response using SIEM, SOAR, and AI-driven security analytics.
6. Leverage Microsoft Azure security tools (Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, Entra ID, Microsoft Purview) to secure cloud and hybrid environments.
7. Collaborate with IT, DevSecOps, and compliance teams to embed security into system development.

Minimum Qualifications

1. 15 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 10 years relevant experience with Masters/PhD/JD in related field.
2. 8+ years in cybersecurity, RMF, and federal security compliance.
3. Expertise in Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA), IAM, PAM, and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA).
4. Experience with NIST 800-53, NIST 800-207 (ZT), and DoD RMF.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Azure security solutions, cloud security (Azure, GCC High), and DevSecOps security automation.
6. Hands-on experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint security (EDR/XDR), and micro-segmentation.
7. US Citizenship.
8. Clearance: Must possess an active TS clearance and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
