Easterseals PORT Health in Raleigh seeks a Cybersecurity Analyst to join our IT department. This full-time role supports monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, and compliance activities to protect systems, networks, and data.

The analyst will work with IT staff and vendors to implement controls, perform audits, and promote security awareness across the organization. A related Associate degree and 1+ year in cybersecurity are preferred, with certifications such as CompTIA

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent in related field.
• At least 1 year of cybersecurity experience.
• Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CySA+, SSCP preferred.
• Experience with security monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, IAM, or compliance activities.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, standards and best practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and investigate incidents and support response, containment, remediation, and recovery activities.
• Assist in implementing and monitoring cybersecurity controls and technologies.
• Support audits, compliance reviews, and regulatory reporting activities.
• Maintain cybersecurity documentation and records; assist with access management and security monitoring.
