Job summary

Mission Multiplier seeks a Jr. Cybersecurity Analyst to support NSWC PCD in Panama City, FL. You will provide foundational cybersecurity and IT support to ensure compliance, security, and operational readiness across Navy information systems.

You will work with DoD RMF processes, maintain certifications, monitor patches, and report system security posture using DISA/STIG tools and McAfee HBSS/ePolicy Orchestrator. A DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain one is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• CompTIA Security+ certification required.
• Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Familiarity with RMF accreditation and authorization process.
• Exposure to DoD cybersecurity tools such as DISA STIG Viewer, DISA SCAP Tool, Tenable ACAS, and McAfee HBSS/ePolicy Orchestrator.

Responsibilities

• Provide cybersecurity and IT support in compliance with SECNAV M-5239.2 for CSWF roles.
• Maintain required certifications and training for all information systems and operating systems.
• Assist with POA&M updates.
• Track IAVM/patches and support RMF-based authorization and continuous monitoring.

Job description

Mission Multiplier is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst, Jr. to support the execution of a complex contract supporting the Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD). This role provides foundational cybersecurity and IT support for Department of the Navy information systems, ensuring compliance, security, and operational readiness. This role supports the implementation and maintenance of cybersecurity controls across enterprise IT environments in accordance with DOD and Navy policies.

Job Responsibilities:

• Providing cybersecurity and IT support in compliance with SECNAV M-5239.2 for CSWF roles.
• Maintaining required certifications and training for all information systems and operating systems within the scope of duties.
• Assisting with POA&M updates.
• Tracking IAVM/patches.
• Supporting system authorization and continuous monitoring activities under the Risk Management Framework (RMF) to generate control evidence.
• Utilizes DOD-approved cybersecurity tools, including DISA STIG Viewer, DISA SCAP Tool, Tenable ACAS, and McAfee HBSS/ePolicy Orchestrator, to assess, remediate, and report system security posture.

Qualifications:

• 0–3 years of relevant civilian or military professional experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or other relevant field of study (or equivalent experience).
• CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Familiarity with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) accreditation and authorization process.
• Exposure to or experience with DOD cybersecurity tools, including DISA STIG Viewer, DISA SCAP Tool, Tenable ACAS, and McAfee HBSS/ePolicy Orchestrator.
• Active DOD Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior internship or hands-on experience in a DOD environment.
• Completed coursework or additional entry-level certifications relevant to operating systems (e.g., Linux, Windows Admin).
