Job summary

CACI International Inc seeks a Cybersecurity Analyst/Information Systems Security Manager to support joint US defense operations from Virginia. The role focuses on RMF implementation, security controls, and risk management across IT, NSS, and AIS environments.

You will work with program offices on cybersecurity acquisition, coordinate cyber resilience across the system life cycle, and lead incident coordination and training initiatives while maintaining compliance with FISMA and DoD requirements.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of cyber security/IA experience, or 3+ years with related degree.
  • Knowledge of DOD, Army, ASA(ALT) cyber directives.
  • Secret clearance required.

Responsibilities

  • Identify vulnerabilities and threats to IT, NSS, and AIS.
  • Implement RMF and assist ISSM with security controls and RMF documentation; system fielding, operations, or upgrades.
  • Support cybersecurity acquisition documentation and compliance with statutory/regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate integration of Cybersecurity, COMSEC, and TEMPEST into the system life-cycle design, development, and deployment.
  • Maintain DF0 Inspector General (IG) Cybersecurity Self-Assessment and FISMA compliance.
  • Implement audit measures and assist in inspections and corrective actions.
  • Advise on complex security systems and provide alternatives to meet security requirements.
  • Develop and deliver training on computer and information security requirements and operation of IS/AIS.
  • Analyze vulnerabilities and translate training needs into media.
  • Manage incident coordination with NEC and CSIRs; generate reports and process information.
  • Assist with policy, program budget, and doctrine issues related to Cybersecurity.

The Opportunity

Join CACI as a Cybersecurity Analyst/Information Systems Security Manager supporting a Joint Interagency Task Force that reports to the Deputy Secretary of Defense, to better align authorities and resources to rapidly deliver Joint C-sUAS capabilities to America's warfighters, defeat adversary threats, and promote sovereignty over national airspace.

Responsibilities
  • Assist on all matters relating to the vulnerabilities and threats to Information Technology (IT) Systems, National Security Systems (NSS), and Automated Information Systems (AIS).
  • Implement the Defense (DOD) Risk Management Framework (RMF) and assist the System Security Manager (ISSM) ensure successful implementation of associated security controls and reviews all RMF documentation packages, and system fielding, operations, or upgrade requirements
  • Assist Program Management Offices with Cybersecurity related Acquisition documentation requirements (i.e. Cybersecurity Strategies) and statutory/regulatory/policy compliance.
  • Coordinate integration of Cybersecurity, COMSEC, and TEMPEST into the entire system life-cycle design, development, and deployment.
  • Support maintenance of DOD Inspector General (IG) Cybersecurity Self-Assessment checklist compliance and Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA)
  • Implement audit measures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, participate in organizational inspections and surveys of computer systems, provide inspection results, and assess the adequacy of corrective actions taken.
  • Advise on all complex and unique computer security systems, make recommendations on the approval of various computer operations based on security guidelines, and provide alternatives to managers to meet security requirements based on the unique needs of the organization and mission requirements.
  • Assist in developing, maintaining, implementing and delivering a formal training and education program for computer and information security requirements and operation and maintenance of automated information systems in compliance with all applicable regulations and safeguards.
  • Analyze the vulnerabilities and weaknesses of existing computer security programs that could benefit from group training and translate those needs into training and education media.
  • Manage computer incident coordination and notification with the local Network Enterprise Center (NEC) and servicing Computer Emergency Response Teams. Generate reports of analyses and processes the information in accordance with program procedures.
  • Provide technical input and write documents to provide information, help prevent, and increase understanding of issues involved in computer security incidents including, but not limited to internal documentation, advisories, and technical documents.
  • Assist with policy, programmatic, budget and doctrine issues associated with Cybersecurity within the organization, other U.S. Government agencies and other technical experts.

  • More than 10 years progressive relevant experience (Cyber Security/Information Assurance), or Related Bachelor's Degree with at least 6 years progressive, relevant experience
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification is highly desirable. Knowledge of DOD, Army, and ASA(ALT) directives and regulations governing Cybersecurity
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification is highly desirable.

The Proposed Salary Range For This Position Is

$72,700 - $149,200
