Location: West Mifflin, PA or Schenectady/Niskayuna, NY. On-site with ability to work 1 day/week remotely.

Clearance: Active or recently active DOE Q or DOD Top Secret Clearance required.

Job Description

The Cybersecurity Analyst will implement NIST directives supporting the Risk Management Framework (RMF). Responsibilities include assisting with System Security Plans (SSPs), Security Assessment Reports (SARs), and developing Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) and Risk Based Decisions (RBDs).

Qualifications – Required

• Active or recently active DOE Q or DOD Top Secret Clearance
• Minimum four years in roles such as security control validator, assessor, ISSO, or ISSM
• At least two years supporting security authorization packages per NIST 800-37, 800-53, 800-53a
• Experience with FedRAMP
• Security+ Certification
• U.S. Citizenship

Qualifications – Desired

• Experience with RSA Archer
• Two years on IT security project teams
• One year managing IT projects
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure, security policies, and security tools
• Previous authorization experience in classified DOE or DOD environments
• Familiarity with NIST 800-171
• CISSP and CCSK certifications

Compensation

Salary ranges from $85,000 to $135,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Includes comprehensive benefits such as health, dental, vision, disability insurance, and a 401(k) plan.
