Job summary

UniSource is seeking an IT Security Analyst to defend critical infrastructure, monitor events, and conduct investigations protecting networks, systems, and data across the enterprise.

You will partner across IT and business teams to implement controls, support regulatory programs (NERC CIP, SOX, HIPAA, PCI DSS), and participate in 24x7 incident response. A strong focus on risk assessment and security operations is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; experience in information security or IT strongly valued.
• 3–5 years of relevant security or network experience for Level II consideration; industry certs preferred.
• Knowledge of NERC CIP, SOX, HIPAA, PCI DSS and related regulations is beneficial.
• Ability to work independently and in teams in a rapidly evolving environment.

Responsibilities

• Protect critical infrastructure by administering and securing enterprise systems, applications, databases, networks, and user access.
• Monitor security events, investigate suspicious activity, and respond to cybersecurity incidents and forensic investigations.
• Conduct vulnerability, risk, and security assessments to identify threats and strengthen security posture.
• Evaluate and implement emerging security technologies that improve protection of company assets and operations.
• Support compliance and regulatory initiatives (NERC CIP, SOX, HIPAA, PCI DSS) and collaborate with IT, business units, vendors, and project teams.
