Qualifications

• 7+ years cybersecurity experience in design, development, integration, test, certification, and accreditation of security solutions for DOD/IC systems.
• 5+ years supporting DOD acquisition programs/projects.
• 1+ years applying RMF (ICD 503) for the accreditation of DOD/IC IT.
• Compliance with DOD 8140.01, DFARS 252.239.7001, AR 25-2 Information Assurance.
• Subject to investigative/assignment requirements per AR 25-2, AR 380-67.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, integration, test, certification, and accreditation of security solutions for DOD/IC systems.
• Support DOD acquisition programs/projects with cybersecurity expertise.
• Apply RMF processes for accreditation of IT systems.
• Ensure compliance with training requirements and personnel security regulations.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to meet DOD/Army standards.

Job description

• This position anticipates standard work hours, Monday-Friday.

TRAVEL:

• Limited or minimal travel expected.

Qualifications:

• Active and current TS/SCI clearance required at the time of application.

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field, OR;
• Associate's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field + 4 additional years of work experience, OR;
• High school diploma or equivalent and 6 additional years of work experience

CERTIFICATION(S):

• DOD and Army training requirements - DOD 8140.01, Cyberspace Workforce Management; DFARS 252.239.7001, Information Assurance Contractor Training and Certification; AR 25-2, Information Assurance
• Baseline certification as stipulated in DODD 8140.01
• IAM Level III or IAT Level III baseline certification
• IAW DOD 8570.01 certification

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• 7+ years of progressively complex cybersecurity experience in the design, development, integration, test, certification, and accreditation of security solutions for DOD or IC intelligence systems.
• 5+ years of cybersecurity experience supporting DOD acquisition programs / projects.
• 1+ years experience in applying Risk Management Framework (ICD 503) for the accreditation of DOD or IC Information Technology Systems.
• Compliance with DOD and Army training requirements in DOD 8140.01, Cyberspace Workforce Management; DFARS 252.239.7001, Information Assurance Contractor Training and Certification; AR 25-2, Information Assurance
• Subject to investigative and assignment requirements IAW AR 25-2, AR 380-67, Personnel Security Program, and related regulations

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• 4+ years as an ISSO, System Administrator experience can be partially substituted.
• 4+ years as an ISSM (Level 2 or level 3)
• Experience physically configuring a system/network or device to STIG standards or experience verifying those settings
• Experience with the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
