Insight Global is seeking an IT Security Analyst to monitor and protect our environment. You will investigate alerts, respond to incidents, maintain security tooling, and perform vulnerability scans across endpoints, networks, and servers.

You will work with EDR, SIEM, firewalls and anti-virus solutions, applying remediation steps and supporting after-hours on-call as needed. A bachelor's degree and SANS certification are preferred.

Formación

• 4 years of IT support with a focus on cybersecurity.
• Experience with SIEM (log management, alert configuration & tuning).
• Experience performing vulnerability scanning and reporting (Nessus, Qualys, Rapid 7).
• Experience administering security controls such as firewalls, EDR, password management tools, web filters, and AV.
• Familiarity with Windows 10/11, Windows Server, Active Directory, Linux.
• Understanding of network principles, protocols, and tools (Cisco LAN/WAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP).
• Bachelor's degree required; SANS certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

Job Description

The IT Security Analyst will spend their day monitoring the firm’s environment for security threats, investigating alerts, and responding to potential security incidents. They will maintain security tools, perform vulnerability scans, support remediation efforts, and analyze information across systems, networks, endpoints, and logs to identify risks and suspicious activity. The role will also help manage technologies such as EDR, SIEM, firewalls, antivirus, and vulnerability management tools, while providing periodic after-hours on-call support.

Skills and Requirements

• 4 years of experience in IT support, with a focus on cybersecuritySIEM experience (log management, alert configuration & tuning)
