Job description

Primary Responsibilities

• Monitor, investigate, and report security incidents across enterprise systems, networks, and environments.
• Analyze vulnerabilities, assess risk, and coordinate remediation efforts with responsible teams.
• Track and report security findings, remediation status, and overall security posture.
• Evaluate data from security monitoring tools, vulnerability scanners, and other security sources.
• Recommend and implement security best practices, controls, and solutions.
• Support network and system security initiatives, including authentication and access control technologies.
• Ensure compliance with organizational security standards and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise IT environments in cybersecurity, system administration, network engineering, or related roles.
• Strong understanding of OSI and TCP/IP models, IP addressing, subnetting, routing, network topologies, authentication, encryption, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless security.
• Experience with vulnerability management, security monitoring, and incident response.
• Knowledge of network security protocols and technologies such as 802.1X.

Preferred Qualifications

• Industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies, Palo Alto Networks firewalls, and Aruba ClearPass.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
