Job summary

World Food Programme is seeking a Cybersecurity Advisory Consultant (IAM & Endpoint Protection) for a remote, 11-month assignment. Responsibilities include leading risk assessments, secure architecture design, and IAM/endpoint governance across enterprise systems.

You will guide IT owners, implement SSDLC practices, and mentor junior staff while collaborating with regional and HQ teams to elevate WFP's cyber maturity in a global context.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related STEM disciplines.
• At least 6 years of relevant work experience.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in another official UN language desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments and lead Authorization to Operate (ATO) for IT systems and services.
• Design, review and oversee security architecture for apps, platforms, cloud services and tech initiatives.
• Assess and strengthen identity and access management controls across apps, cloud services and enterprise platforms.
• Define endpoint protection requirements and security baselines for corporate endpoints and managed devices.
• Provide security guidance on integration of identity and endpoint controls and secure SDLC practices.
• Lead development and continual improvement of cybersecurity procedures, services and governance frameworks.
• Research and propose innovative security technologies and process improvements with measurable value.
• Maintain new security standards and perform baseline/hardening reviews with Architecture branch.
• Provide advisory services to County Offices, Regional Bureaus and HQ to ensure compliance with security standards.
