This role requires a security professional with strong integrity and the ability to manage multiple projects while aligning technical solutions with business needs. The position focuses on assessing and hardening operating systems, applications, and services, as well as administering key security technologies including NIDS/NIPS, HIDS/HIPS, NAC systems, and SIEM platforms like Splunk. Responsibilities include developing and tuning security content, automating processes through scripting, integrating new systems with engineering teams, and optimizing IDS and SIEM performance. The role also encompasses deploying, maintaining, upgrading, and troubleshooting cyber defense systems across servers, network components, workstations, and related infrastructure.
