Job summary

Macquarie Bank Limited is seeking a Cyber Threat Intelligence professional to collect, analyze and communicate threat intel that strengthens our security posture.

You will work with incident response, threat hunting and cyber defense teams to deliver actionable insights for risk decisions.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Cyber Threat Intelligence, Cyber Security Operations, Incident Response or related field.
  • Strong understanding of the intelligence lifecycle, MITRE ATT&CK, cybercrime activity and risk management.
  • Experience producing intelligence reports, briefings and assessments for technical and senior audiences.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills to translate complex cyber issues into insights.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or industry certifications such as GCTI, CTIA, CISSP, GIAC, SANS or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, analyze and communicate cyber threat intelligence to strengthen security posture and support risk decisions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across incident response, threat hunting and cyber defense activities.
  • Identify process improvements, reporting and automation opportunities within intelligence programs.
  • Build and maintain relationships across the organization and with external partners.

Our Cyber Threat Intelligence team helps protect our people, customers, operations and assets by identifying and analyzing cyber threats, emerging risks and industry developments. Our team works closely with cyber security, technology, risk and business teams to provide intelligence that supports informed risk decisions across the organization.

What role will you play?

In this role you will collect, analyze and communicate cyber threat intelligence that helps strengthen our cyber security posture and support risk management decisions. You will work with a wide range of stakeholders to deliver intelligence-led insights for incident response, threat hunting and cyber defense activities. You will have the opportunity to improve intelligence processes, reporting and automation capabilities while building strong relationships across the organization and with external partners.

What you offer
