Job summary

DTCC is seeking a Senior Cyber Security professional to join our Cyber Monitoring and Incident Response Team in a hybrid Tampa, FL role. You will detect, investigate, and respond to security events while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

You will independently lead investigations, mentor junior staff, and occasionally travel for conferences and training. The role requires strong analysis of OS logs, network data, and forensic information, with on-call obligations as needed.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of experience as a SOC analyst or similar role.
• Ability to analyze OS logs, network logs, and flow data.
• Experience producing written reports with clear recommendations.
• Able to convey complex security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Subject matter expert in security domain with hands-on DFIR knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, detect, and respond to cyber security events across DTCC environments.
• Lead investigations and small projects independently.
• Act as Incident Commander for minor incidents (P3-P4).
• Train and mentor junior staff members.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to review plans and procedures and respond to incidents.
• Participate in training, exercises, and process improvement programs.
• Occasionally travel to conferences and other DTCC offices (up to 10%).
• Participate in on-call rotation and after-hours work as needed.
