Job summary

CACI International Inc is seeking a Cyber Threat Hunter to join NGA operations. The role will proactively hunt for indicators of compromise, analyze hosts, networks, and processes, and collaborate with multiple teams to improve security posture.

Applicants must hold TS/SCI with polygraph or obtain within 6 months, with IAT III and CSSP certifications or within 90 days. Up to 10% travel locally may be required.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with polygraph or must obtain within 6 months of start date.
• IAT Level III and CSSP Analyst Certification or can obtain within 90 days; if unavailable, depart the program.

Responsibilities

• Proactively search for indicators of compromise and anomalous behavior.
• Work hunt missions independently through completion.
• Assess data from multiple sources to identify suspicious activity.
• Augment identification and tracking of incidents.
• Create, update, and document tickets in the ticketing system.
• Provide input to daily/weekly reports and status updates.
• Collaborate with threat intel, countermeasure, and other teams to improve security posture.
• Conduct host, network, and process analyses on Windows and Linux.
• Assess technical data to locate intrusions and unauthorized activity.
• Create reports detailing actions, findings, and recommendations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
