Bowhead seeks an experienced Cyber Threat Analyst to join our team in Vicksburg, MS. The Cyber Security Analyst will monitor, analyze and report cyber events, collaborating with CND Incident Responders and Cybersecurity Engineers to identify indicators of compromise and mitigate incidents.

The role requires a BS in CS or related field, Security+ certification with CEH within 90 days, five years Linux/Networking, IDS/IPS experience, malware analysis tools, and strong Python/C/C++ programming;

Qualifikationen

• BS in Computer Science or related field is required.
• Must have CompTIA Security+ certification to start; CEH within 90 days.
• Minimum five years of Linux and Networking experience; 3 years with IDS/IPS.
• Two+ years of Python programming experience; strong C/C++ skills.

• Receive and perform initial analysis on warning intelligence information.
• Identify potential impact using IOC analysis and distribute countermeasures.
• Evaluate IOCs to determine associations with CNE groups and related infrastructure.
• Assist customers by developing and sharing countermeasures to mitigate cyber threats.
