Job summary

Request Technology, LLC seeks a seasoned cybersecurity professional to detect, analyze, and stop emerging threats. You will monitor triaging and responding to security incidents, analyze threat intel, and hunt threats across EDR and SIEM tools.

In this role, you will collaborate with IT to secure configurations, develop detection rules, maintain security tooling, and serve as a subject matter expert for incident responses. Strong communication and knowledge sharing are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Cybersecurity or IT-related fields (or equivalent experience).
• At least six years in IT or a minimum of three years direct cybersecurity experience.
• Certifications: CompTIA Security+, GIAC Info Sec Fundamentals or Security Essentials, CISSP.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, triage, and respond to security alerts and incidents.
• Utilize threat intelligence feeds to stay informed about emerging threats.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure configurations.
• Develop and implement new detection rules.
• Maintain and configure security tools and technologies.
• Document and conform to processes related to security monitoring and incident response.
• Act as subject matter expert for security incident responses.
• Enhance department and organization reputation by delivering quality results and increasing security awareness.
• Participate in knowledge sharing with other analysts/engineers and develop solutions.
