Job summary

Armison Tech in Northern Virginia is seeking an experienced Cyber Technical Analyst Advisor to join an on-site client environment in Chantilly, VA. The role requires active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance and focuses on evaluating systems, conducting security testing, and defending against vulnerabilities.

You will analyze large datasets, advise on security requirements, and guide junior cybersecurity staff to ensure compliance with government policies and defense-in-depth measures.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience with offensive cyber activities and reporting findings.
• Experience with network forensics, network administration, investigative data analysis, and mobile networks.
• Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Possess a related Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in this domain.

Responsibilities

• Must maintain active/current TS/SCI with a polygraph clearance.
• Plans, prepares and executes tests of systems to evaluate results against specifications and requirements as well as analyze/report test results.
• Performs assessments of systems and networks within the network environment or enclave and identifies where those systems/networks deviate from acceptable configurations, enclave policy, or local policy. Measures effectiveness of defense-in-depth architecture against known vulnerabilities.
• Assists in the implementation of the required government policy (i.e. NISPOM, DCID 6/3), and may make recommendations on process tailoring.
• Performs analyses to validate established security requirements and to recommend additional security requirements and safeguards.
• Supports the formal Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) required by each government accrediting authority through pre-test preparations, participation in the tests, analysis of the results, and preparation of required reports.
• Experienced in data collection, data analysis, and ingestion of large datasets, for the purpose of furthering the team's larger mission goals.
• Periodically conducts a review of each system's audits and monitors corrective actions until all actions are closed.
• Provides guidance and leadership to less-experienced cybersecurity personnel.

• Experience with network forensics, network administration, investigative data analysis, and mobile networks.
• Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Experience with SQL, Hadoop, Python, Node XL,and a knowledge of telecommunications
• Possess a relatedBachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• 8+years of overall working experience in this domain.
