In this role, you will serve as the designer and integrator of operational cybersecurity technologies supporting a large federal health research organization. This role ensures that SecOps environments are architected for resilience, scalability, compliance, and mission alignment within the enterprise security program. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

8+ years of experience within cybersecurity operations, security engineering, incident response, or enterprise security architecture
Experience aligning system architectures with the CISA Zero T rus t Maturity Model
Experience with evaluating emerging technologies and conducting proof‑of‑concepts to assess mission fit
Experience responding to and remediating cybersecurity incidents
Ability to integrate modern capabilities such as behavioral analytics, AI / ML enrichment, automated response, and threat intelligence into SecOps pipelines
Ability to maintain comprehensive architecture diagrams, documentation, and configuration baselines
Public Trust
HS diploma or GED
Experience communicating complex security concepts clearly to non‑technical stakeholders and senior leaders
Experience within a federal health or research oriented organization
Ability to collaborate with A & A, GRC, and cyber policy teams to ensure systems meet all security, privacy, regulatory, and audit requirements
Ability to translate strategic cybersecurity objectives from leadership into actionable technical requirements for operational teams
CompTIA Security+ Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
