Job summary

Strategic Ventures Consulting Group, LLC (SVCG) seeks a Cyber Strategy & Policy SME to join our Ft. Meade, MD team. You will research and shape cyber strategy, policy, and doctrine across DoD and national partners to advance cyberspace operations and national security objectives.

Requirements include 10+ years in cyber policy, TS/SCI/CI poly, JPME II, and exceptional written communication with the ability to collaborate in joint environments and present executive-level briefings.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in cyber policy or strategy roles.
• TS/SCI/CI poly security clearance required.
• JPME II completion required.
• Strong written communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Research, evaluate, and develop cyber strategy, policy, and doctrine for cyberspace operations across DoD and national-level orgs.
• Advise executives with strategic recommendations shaping cyberspace operations.
• Collaborate with interagency partners to support cyber policy development and preserve DoD/USCYBERCOM equities.
• Monitor policy developments, legislation, and initiatives impacting DoD and USCYBERCOM with timely analysis.
• Prepare clear written products, briefings, and executive communications for senior leaders.
• Apply analytical thinking to evaluate policy challenges, conduct risk assessments, and craft practical solutions.

Strategic Ventures is currently recruiting a Cyber Strategy & Policy SME to join our team at Ft. Meade, MD.

Responsibilities

• Research, evaluate, and contribute to the development and coordination of cyber strategy, policy, and doctrine supporting cyberspace operations across the Department of Defense, Military Services, Combatant Commands, and national-level organizations.
• Serve as a trusted advisor on executive-level initiatives by providing subject matter expertise and developing strategic recommendations that shape the future of cyberspace operations.
• Collaborate with interagency partners and coalition stakeholders to support cyber policy development, ensuring Department of Defense and USCYBERCOM authorities, interests, and equities are effectively represented.
• Monitor emerging cyber policy developments, legislative changes, and strategic initiatives that may impact the Department of Defense and USCYBERCOM, providing timely analysis and recommendations to leadership.
• Prepare and deliver clear, well-organized written products, briefings, and executive communications for senior leaders and decision-makers.
• Apply analytical and critical thinking skills to evaluate complex policy and program challenges, conduct risk assessments, and develop practical, innovative solutions that support mission objectives.
