Job summary

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company pushing the boundaries of autonomy, AI, and secure hardware-software integration. The Site Reliability Engineer role in Anduril Cyber focuses on keeping deployed systems reliable, scalable, and deployable across air-gapped environments for national security missions.

You will collaborate with software developers, customers, and vendors to deliver offensive cyber products, owning the full deployment pipeline from CI/CD to production.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. TS/SCI clearance is required.
• Based in the DC metro area to support on-site work 3–5 days/week.
• 4+ years in Sys Admin, Site Reliability, DevOps, or Software Engineering.
• Deep Linux experience and Kubernetes expertise.
• Strong networking fundamentals and ability to debug in locked-down environments.
• Experience delivering systems on air-gapped and security-hardened networks.
• Proficiency in Python or Bash for automation; Go for reading/debugging service code.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for cross-functional work.

Responsibilities

• Own the health of deployed systems with minimal downtime.
• Automate deployment processes into air-gapped TS/SCI environments.
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD and automated test infra for complex systems.
• Develop dashboards, TUIs, scripts, and tools to automate deployment and debugging.
• Drive engineering requirements from on-site observations and customer needs.
• Perform root cause analysis across software, firmware, and hardware.
