Job summary

Cornerstone Defense LLC is seeking a Cyber Software Engineer in Linthicum Heights, MD to perform software engineering and vulnerability research focused on offensive and defensive cyber operations. You will engage directly with customers, gather requirements, and produce documentation, code, and tests.

Applicants should have strong C/C++ skills, experience with reverse engineering and kernel debugging, and familiarity with Windows/Linux internals.

Qualifications

High School + 7 years of software development experience.
BS in Electrical/Computer/Software Engineering, Computer Science, Math or Information Systems with 3 years of software development experience.

Responsibilities

Perform software engineering and vulnerability research focused on OCO and DCO activities.
Work with customers directly performing full cycle system engineering, gathering requirements and source code, to technical documentation and specifications.
Perform long-term vulnerability assessments using reverse engineering, kernel debugging, and exploitation technologies.
Be creative and exhaust every technical avenue to uncover weaknesses and exploit them.
Develops production quality software based on predefined requirements and designs.
Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including coding, testing, debugging, installing, and documenting.
