Cornerstone Defense LLC is seeking a Cyber Software Engineer in Linthicum Heights, MD. The role focuses on software development and vulnerability research for offensive and defensive cyber operations, collaborating with customers through the full system engineering lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will perform reverse engineering, kernel debugging, and exploit development, delivering production-quality software and thorough documentation while adhering to security requirements.

Qualifications

• BS in STEM field or equivalent with strong software dev background.
• 7+ years software development experience for high school route.
• 3+ years with BS route in relevant tech.
• Proficient in C/C++ and assembly/x86/x64.

Responsibilities

• Perform software engineering and vulnerability research focused on OCO and DCO.
• Collaborate with customers across full cycle system engineering and documentation.
• Conduct long-term vulnerability assessments using reverse engineering and debugging.
• Develop production-quality software from requirements and designs.
• Create unit and integration tests and related test plans.
