Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a software engineer to design and develop CNO tools and end-to-end data flows, with emphasis on Python and C/C++. You will implement Windows or UNIX applications and contribute to documentation and readiness reviews.

The role requires a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, a BS in CS or related field, and hands-on experience in debugging, testing, and analyzing user requirements to shape robust software solutions for government programs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline with 2 years of experience.
Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph clearance; willing to obtain another polygraph.
Experience in Python or C/C++ programming.
Experience with troubleshooting and debugging systems.
Experience analyzing user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
Software analysis or reverse engineering CNO development concepts.
Unit testing frameworks and practices.

Responsibilities

Provides custom software design and development of CNO tools and techniques.
Designs and develops end-to-end data flow and tasking into CNO tools developed.
Provides/authors documentation, participates in design, code, and software readiness reviews.
Programs in Assembly, C, C++, Java, Perl, or Python.
Develop Windows applications using Visual Studio or .NET environments; UNIX applications using make files or comparable build environments; or, Embedded or mobile platform development using proprietary, GOTS, or open-source build environments.
Provide/author documentation, participate in design, code, and software readiness reviews as prescribed by the Government's software development procedures and processes.
