Boston Government Services, LLC (BGS) seeks qualified candidates for an Evergreen Talent Pool position as a Cyber Security Specialist to join our Washington, DC area team. This role is contingent upon contract award and offers on-site collaboration with mission-focused security programs.

• B.A. or B.S. degree and at least 5 years of IT security experience, including 3+ years in one or more security disciplines.
• Active security clearance required.
• On-site in Washington, D.C. area 2-3 days a week.

• Provides experience in one or more information, computers, or network security disciplines (e.g., penetration testing, intrusion detection and audit analysis, PKI, cryptography, assessment and authorization, cloud security solutions, or risk assessment and mitigation).
• Plans and leads major technology assignments.
• Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks.
• Operates with latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems.
• Contributes to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable.

Requirements

• B.A. or B.S. degree and a minimum of 5 years of IT security experience, including at least 3 years of experience in one or more information, computer, or network security disciplines (e.g., penetration testing, intrusion detection and audit analysis, public key infrastructure, cryptography, assessment and authorization, cloud security solutions, or risk assessment and mitigation).
• Must have active security clearance.
• Must work on site in Washington D.C. area 2-3 days a week.

Location/Work Arrangement:

• This position is hybrid in Washington D.C.
• Schedule is full-time, Monday – Friday 40-hour week.
