This hands‑on PM role sits within multiple concurrent cybersecurity work streams and partners with engineering leads to translate activity into clear plans and milestones. The position requires deep security operations knowledge, experience with patch cycles, CVEs, vulnerability remediation, and strong communication with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in cybersecurity or infrastructure programs.
• Technical fluency in security operations, patch cycles, CVEs and vulnerability severity.
• Proven track record managing multiple concurrent work streams and technical stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication to senior stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps or comparable work-tracking tool.
• Available to work onsite three days per week in Deerfield Beach, FL.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end delivery across multiple cybersecurity work streams, own schedule, scope, dependencies, and risk.
• Manage projects using a waterfall delivery methodology with detailed project plans and milestone tracking.
• Coordinate delivery across security domains including packaging, endpoint policy, patch management, and remediation.
• Identify cross-stream dependencies and conflicts, and escalate with recommended paths forward.
• Maintain project documentation, issue and risk logs, and status reporting for leadership.
• Track work in Azure DevOps and keep the board current in the system of record.
• Facilitate working sessions, reviews, and phase-gate checkpoints with stakeholders.

Job Title: Cyber Security Project Manager

Job Location: Deerfield Beach, FL (Hybrid - 3 Days a week onsite)

Duration: Multi - Year Contract

Overview

Our client is standing a new in-house security program built to address the rapidly evolving threat landscape created by AI. As AI accelerates both the volume and sophistication of attacks, the organization is investing in a dedicated program to harden its endpoint, application, and vulnerability management posture. The program spans multiple concurrent technical work streams. Two Project Managers are being added to drive execution across all of them, partnering closely with the engineering leads who own each stream. This is a hands‑on, technically grounded PM role. You will not be managing a generic IT portfolio — you will be embedded in cybersecurity work and expected to speak the language of the engineers you support.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end delivery across multiple parallel cybersecurity work streams, owning schedule, scope, dependencies, and risk for each Partner daily with technical work stream leads to translate engineering activity into clear plans, milestones, and executive‑ready status
• Manage projects using a waterfall delivery methodology — build and maintain detailed project plans, phase gates, and milestone tracking
• Coordinate delivery across security domains including application packaging, endpoint policy and permission management (governing what applications users can install), patch management, and vulnerability remediation
• Identify cross-stream dependencies and resource conflicts early, and escalation with a recommended path forward
• Maintain project documentation, issue and risk logs, and status reporting for program leadership
• Track work in Azure DevOps (ADO) and keep the board current as a system of record
• Facilitate working sessions, stakeholder reviews, and phase-gate checkpoints across technical and business stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience, with a substantial portion supporting cybersecurity or infrastructure programs
• Demonstrated technical fluency in security operations — able to hold a credible conversation about patch cycles, CVEs and vulnerability severity, application packaging and deployment, and endpoint policy enforcement
• Proven track record managing multiple concurrent work streams and technical stakeholders simultaneously
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including status reporting to senior stakeholders
• Working familiarity with Azure DevOps or a comparable work‑tracking tool
• Able to work onsite three days per week; must be local to [City, State]

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands‑on experience delivering with a waterfall methodology (detailed project plans, defined phases, milestone and gate management)
• Prior experience supporting a security program stood up from scratch, or a similar 0-to-1 program environment
• Exposure to AI‑driven threat vectors and how they change traditional security response
• Background in endpoint management, SCCM/Intune, or enterprise software deployment
• Experience in a regulated or enterprise‑scale environment

Notes

PMP certification is not required. Practical delivery experience in a technical security environment is weighted more heavily than certification. Agile/Scrum experience is not required. This program runs on a waterfall model; candidates whose entire background is Agile-only should be screened carefully for fit.
