Vantor is hiring a Cybersecurity Analyst to join the Cyber Security team and support continuous monitoring, triage, and incident response across the Vantor environment.

The role collaborates with MSSP analysts, Senior Cyber Operations Analysts, and IT teams to identify intrusions, improve monitoring coverage, and drive timely corrective actions.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Escalate potential cybersecurity incidents according to established processes.
• Support IT teams with information gathering and analysis for corrective actions.
• Coordinate with IT Operations and MSSP to resolve issues affecting log sources and monitoring coverage.
• Assist in administration and management of monitoring technologies, including SIEM alerting systems.
• Implement monitoring changes, onboard log sources, and tune alerts.

We're hiring a Cybersecurity Analyst to join Vantor's Cyber Security team and support continuous monitoring, triage, and incident response across the Vantor environment. This role partners with Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) analysts, Senior Cyber Operations Analysts, and Vantor IT teams to identify potential intrusions, improve monitoring coverage, and coordinate timely corrective actions. The analyst will also help administer and enhance the technologies used to monitor the Vantor environment.

Responsibilities

• Interact with MSSP analysts to conduct triage and initial analysis of real-time data feeds and alerts to identify potential intrusions.
• Escalate potential cybersecurity incidents to Senior Cyber Operations Analysts in accordance with established processes.
• Perform and coordinate information gathering and analysis to support Vantor IT teams responsible for corrective and clearing actions.
• Coordinate with IT Operations and the MSSP to resolve issues affecting log-source generation, transmission, and monitoring coverage.
• Serve as Vantor's representative in the day-to-day administration, reporting, and management of monitoring technologies, including centralized log-management and collection tools and SIEM alerting systems.
• Implement and maintain required monitoring technology changes, including onboarding log sources and log types and tuning or modifying alerts.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• General knowledge of network and system/application architecture and administration principles.
• General knowledge of monitoring-system architecture maintained by Cyber Security, including SIEM and log-management architecture.
• Understanding of current trends in attacker and threat-actor tools, techniques, and procedures.
• Ability and willingness to share on-call responsibilities, work non-standard hours, support Cyber Security investigations, and travel up to 15% when required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Preference will be given to candidates who are local to Westminster, Colorado.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or another related field.
• Professional experience with AWS and cloud security technologies.
• Experience supporting digital forensic investigations, including endpoint, host-based, network, and cloud forensics.
• Coding experience with Python and/or Bash.
• Experience with network security and networking technologies, as well as system, security, and network-monitoring tools.

Pay Transparency

Pay Transparency: To support pay transparency, Vantor includes salary ranges in all U.S. job postings. Starting pay for this role will fall within the listed range and will be based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, location, and market conditions. Candidates who meet the minimum requirements for the role should not expect to receive compensation at the top of the range. The listed range reflects the expected pay for this position, and final offers will be determined based on each candidate's experience, expertise, and alignment with the role.

The base pay for this position within Colorado is: $105,000.00 - $140,000.00 - $154,000.00 annually.

For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.
